安远路——录于2009年8月1日下午5:46。

江宁路——录于2009年8月15日下午6:09。

走过江宁路，这次漫步从安远路开始，朝街道的中心地带进发。这里已经发生了不少变化，已经十分现代化。附近是莫干山路M50，这里散布着许多画廊。这个“弄堂”就如一个天然的宝物，仍然保留着以前那种简单而丰富的生活方式，让我们能够近距离体验上海本地人的生活。Echo在这里度过了童年时光，基本上她是奶奶带大的。现在，她的家人和朋友仍然住在这里。我们漫步在弄堂里，看到了她描述的那些地方，闻到了空气中弥漫的新鲜饭菜的香味。

走到胡同的尽头，我们碰巧遇到了她奶奶的姐姐和一些朋友。于是，和他们聊了起来。声音漫步之旅中穿插的这些意想不到的片段，毫无保留地展现了录音材料记录的生活本质，令人耳目一新。同时，也说明录音中的说话者与其家人及成长之地仍然有着紧密的联系。

7080- Grandma’s house.

[17:17] We are now almost at my grandma’s place. This is #142 [Photo 7080]. The houses here usually have two stories and they usually have a skylight at the top floor.

[17:44] I used to come here a lot to run around and enjoy my day with my friends in the ‘Nong Tang’.

[18:04] The sky on top of the ‘Nong Tang’ here, although not very wide, is very beautiful.

Echojin: Hi Uncle!

Uncle: Oh! How are you? Why are you here?

Echojin: Today I am taking a friend here to record the sound of ‘Jing Xiu Li’.

Uncle: Record here?

Echojin: Yes, yes, yes. Grandma? Are you going out for fun now?

Grandma: Yes. I am going with ‘Jiu Jiu’ 3.

Echojin: OK you guys have a safe trip! See you later grandma!

Grandma: Who is this?

Echojin: A friend.

Grandma: Ok, I am going now.

[18:52] [Photo 7081] This is the end of ‘Jing Xiu Li’. We are turning around now. I heard before from others that behind this is an army factory. The Japanese used to build weapons here. I am not sure if that’s true but this area does contain a rich history. At least over 100 years.

[19:12] According to my mom, many of the old people you see here now were born here. They are now 70–80 years old. This place is filled with their memories. To me, this place has a very familiar smell. We just ran into my grandma’s sister. I heard from my mother that she is a very good mother. She did a great job taking care of all her kids at home. She suffered much hardship to raise them until they were independent and became adults. [Photo 7097]
