About us
Bivouac Recording is a label dedicated to releasing field recording projects from China.
The label has two parts:
Bivouac. Label. exclusively releases field recording projects that are commissioned/sponsored by us or completed independently by the recordist or group.
Bivouac. Live. is dedicated to the field recording of live performances of music or sound in China. All live recordings are released under a specific Creative Commons license and are free to download as an MP3.
Bivouac Recording also offers location and post-production services for the film/video/live sound industry in China and beyond. Please see the Recording Services section of our website for more info.
Our Sound Recordist Network (SRN) helps to connect sound recordists based in China to companies needing their skill and expertise for their their productions. To know more about the SRN please see the Label Page.
